Her scope of practice isn't a weekend dry-needling course or a 200-hour add-on Acupuncture certificate. With well over 3,000 hours (2,000+ didactic and 1,000+ clinical hours), Anne is clinically and classically trained, and State Board licensed, after attending a 5-year degree program. She is also a current mentor to her profession as a Student Mentor at ACHS.edu.
Anne also studied and practiced for 10+ years with Extreme Sports Athletes (Tri-Athletes, Marathon Runners, Surfers, Cyclists, Swimmers, Race Car Drivers, Crossfitters, and even Pickelball players) equipping them with food and medicinal herbal remedies for endurance and stamina, and orthopedic massage for complete recovery. She lived in South America for four years, exploring many regions of the Amazon jungle, tapping into herbal medicine, and deep-diving into food as a healing medicine.
As sub-specialties, autoimmune and mental health play a major role in preventative medicine. Our goal is to keep the body from developing into chronic conditions and to maintain harmony.
